Macadamia Nut Farm
The Houseman family, Jessica, and I traveled along the
East Side of Oahu to visit the Macadamia Nut Farm.
There is so much to do and see here!
Sienna and Isabella loved learning how to crack macadamia nuts with mommy!
Matt treated his family to coconut water from a real coconut!
Isabella really liked it too!
Jessica and I liked it as well!
We are so happy to have our wonderful sister Amy and her family visiting!
We even tried to match her family by wearing yellow.
After cracking macadamia nuts, trying free samples of flavored macadamia nuts and Kona coffee, eating apple bananas, drinking coconut water and eating the coconut meat, we headed to our tour buses. Giuliana and I sat in the front row and she was chosen to receive tea leaves picked by the tour guide, which are used to make hula skirts. Later that week, Amy made Giuliana a skirt made from her tea leaves that she received on the tour.
During the tour, we drove through fields of various plants and fruits that are grown in Hawaii.
Our tour bus dropped us off here to watch a show.
We learned about the Polynesian culture and how the men do all the cooking.
We even watched a fire dancer and learned how to crack and prepare a coconut.
This beautiful location is used for movies, tv shows, and weddings.
We received our hibiscus flower and palm leaf headbands from the show.
You wear the flower on the left side if you are married/dating and on the right side if you are single.
Next we we headed towards the boat to get a ride on the water.

We had a great time at the Macadamia Nut Farm!
